My grandmother was the queen of pie making. She made pies every day. We all have an aunt, mother or grandmother who was known for that right? Well I am particular about crusts. That’s not to say my crust or even style of pie making is for you but so far I’m batting a 99% loving my pies.

I also made dog biscuits, something I’m starting with my daughter and granddaughter. Again batting a 99%. I handed them out to friends with dogs to market research. All but one scoffed them down!

One of my friends told me about someone on Block Island that makes and sells Scones. After some thought I said “Hay (for horses), why not”! So the 15th of December I am going to have an Art & Bake Sale. I will have homemade bread, scones, pies dog bisquits as well as a variety of paintings, prints and notecards. This will be a sneak peak into where I am working now as I moved last year out of my storefront studio.
