Brushstrokes of Light:
Exploring the Journey of Fine Art Oil Painting with Julie Brayton
Hi ,
I hope you are well!
In this new year I again am getting ready for the seasons art shows. I am grateful for what the art shows have done for me both monitarily but also the new people I have met. For those of you who have bought art from me, Thank You So Much! The expressions I recieve from you have filled my heart. I started painting because I really enjoy doing it. It has been a way to bring me close to nature, really examining the beauty around us and learning to see beauty I never would have seen without it. Little did I know the joy it would bring to others. That has created a whole new purpose I didn’t know existed!
I continue in the pursuit of training my eye and spending as much time painting directly from nature as I can. I love to explore new ways of painting as well.
To start the year I have been invited by one of my “Fans” lol, clients to have an art event at their house in North Kingstown. They are so enthusiastic in sharing my work with their neighbor and friends and have said to invite my friends.
So this is an invitiation.
Some of you I have personally reached out to but in case I missed anyone I thought I would annouce it here. The date is May 15, this Friday at 5:30-7:30pm.
My Hosts love to entertain and as in the past put on a nice spread. I did say no need to do so much but we’ll see Lol! Either case the work I will have up on display is brand new and will have special pre-show pricing. The special pricing is only at the event. Commission work is welcome at the prices offered but a deposit must happen at the event. Prices go up at the outdoor shows and even more if a painting goes into a gallery.
The big reveal of new work will happen at the event so I hope you can take advantage of this opportunity.
RSVP is greatly apprciated so we have an idea how much food and drink to provide. Respond to this email.
Please, Bring a Friend!
Here are some highlight photos from the first event we did there.
My Why
My goal or mission is to bring reminders and connection to the importance each individual has through the connection to nature. How we all can honor the essence of who we have always been meant to be. Creativity, whether through collecting art or creating it, is a healing force that allows us to embrace, tell and own our stories in a transformative and ultimately joyful way.
How does nature and art make you feel? Comment below.
I would love to hear from you!
