Reflections Of Peace

This painting subject has almost become a series. Sometimes when a subject just hits home I have to paint a few versions of it. This was actually, truth be told, the third version of this subject. Cropping the clouds gave it a different feel. I also rearange the boats picking and choosing which ones I will add.

I’m even painting this in class with my students. The more you paint a subject, the better you come to know it. This painting  definitely has a calming effect.

Now that the shows are over I’m looking forward to exploring new subjects. In meantime, keep an eye out for my little picture sale!
