Brushstrokes of Light:

Exploring the Journey of Fine Art Oil Painting with Julie Brayton

Hi There,

I hope you’re having a good week! Yes I have been emailing a lot lately but I have had a lot going on in a short period of time.

Hopefully you saw the email with the Print Drop Reveal. There are only 25  that will be signed and numbered. This painting won an award last year. This will be it for this image going forward. If you want to see it, Let Me Know!

Before I forget, If you are local, the Narragansett Art Festival is this weekend. Check out some featured artwork you’ll see there on YouTube.

Keep In Mind, Not All My Art Will Be At This Show. There’s Only So Much Room

Now, about having Fun! I am finally getting out Plein Air Painting. It is truly my happy place. Eventually I hope to only do that at some point.

I paint with a group of artists, most older and established in their former career where some host our Plein Air sessions at their amazing properties. This was one of those times. The hard thing is only going the one time. We then move on to another location the following week. The artist /owner  of this location allowed me to bring my students. They loved it!

My Why

My goal or mission is to bring reminders and connection to the importance each individual has through the connection to nature. How we all can honor the essence of who we have always been meant to be. Creativity, whether through collecting art or creating it, is a healing force that allows us to embrace, tell and own our stories in a transformative and ultimately joyful way.

I would love to hear from you!
